Feats

Arcane Shot Adept

Prerequisite: Proficiency with shortbow or longbow

You have training to unleash special magical effects with shortbow and longbow attacks.
You learn two Arcane Shots of your choice from among those available to the Arcane Archer archetype in the fighter class. If an Arcane Shot you use requires your target to make a saving throw to resist the shot’s effects, the saving throw DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.
You gain one use of Arcane Shot, and you regain the use when you finish a short or long rest.

Shadow Ascension

Prerequisite: Dragonborn

Upon taking this feat you draw upon the power of the Shadow fell, your scales become a dark & translucent echo of their natural colour, and you gain the following benefits & detriments.

  • You have resistance to Necrotic damage.
  • You have 10 feet of Blindsight.
  • You gain Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, you have disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
  • You gain an additional breath weapon which takes the form of a 15ft cone of shadows. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature takes 2d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This damage increases by 2d6 when you reach 5th level (4d6), 11th level (6d6), and 17th level (8d6).
Additionally, when a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this damage, it rises as a Shadow under your control. The Shadow acts immediately after you in initiative count. The Shadow remains under your control until it dies. You can have a number of Shadows under your control equal to half your PB (rounded up).
You can use your Shadow Breath a number of times equal to half your PB (rounded up), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
