Path of the Battlerager Redux

Primal Path

At 3rd level, a barbarian gains the Primal Path feature. Here is a special homebrew option for that feature: Path of the Battlerager Redux.
Known as Kuldjargh (literally “axe idiot”) in Dwarvish, battleragers are dwarf followers of the gods of war & take the Path of the Battlerager. They specialize in wearing spiked armor & throwing themselves into combat, striking with their body itself & giving themselves over to the fury of battle.

Battlerager Armour

3rd-level Path of the Battlerager Redux feature
While you are wearing Spiked Armour & Raging, creatures that hit you with a melee attack while within 5ft take piercing damage equal to your PB.
When you use the Attack Action to grapple a creature, the target takes piercing damage equal to your PB, if your grapple check succeeds.
Additionally, you gain proficiency with Heavy Armour & you can enter a Rage while wearing Heavy Armour.

Spiked Armour Forging

3rd-level Path of the Battlerager Redux feature
You gain proficiency with Smith's Tools.
You can add spikes to any metal armour or shield. You do so over the course of a short rest, using 20% of the base cost of the armour in materials.

Reckless Abandon

6th-level Path of the Battlerager Redux feature
When you use Reckless Attack while raging, you also gain temporary HP equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). If you are raging you can also add your PB to the temporary HP.

Battlerager Charge

10th-level Path of the Battlerager Redux feature (Update in progress document)
Beginning at 10th level, if you reduce a medium or smaller creature to 0 HP with damage from your Spiked Armour or Shield, they are impaled on your spike, for a minute, until your rage ends, or another creature uses their action to attempt to remove the body from your armour. When a creature attempts to remove the body from your armour, you can use your Reaction to force them to make a contested Strength check to remove it. If you don’t use your Reaction they automatically succeed in removing the body. A medium creature grants a +3 to AC, a small creature grants a +2, & a tiny creature grants a +1.
Additionally, you can take the Dash action as a Bonus Action while you are raging.

Spiked Retribution

14th-level Path of the Battlerager Redux feature
When you successfully grapple a creature while wearing Spiked Armour, that creature takes piercing damage equal to your Str. A creature you are grappling also takes piercing damage equal to your Str whenever it attempts to escape.
Additionally, while raging you have a bonus to grapple checks based on your Spiked Armour, +1 for light, +2 for medium, & +3 for heavy.
